Dark Star is SELF STERILE. You will need a different variety to pollinate the flowers of this variety to produce fruit. Something that is too similar in the DNA family of Dark Star WILL NOT POLLINATE IT. If you have any questions about pollination, or pairing plants, please feel free to message me. If you are a fan of Paul Thomson, there is evidence to suggest that Dark Star is the 9S from his book. 9S is a Rixford/Niezel cross.
 
How does it taste? It tastes very good! Most dragon fruit do!

It grows very fast for me and produces many fruits, with more flowers on the way after the fruits are near done, allowing me many fruits for the full season for this variety.

I only sell cuttings that I have received fruit off of. All of my pictures are my own pictures, please if you see these pictures anywhere else it would be of great help to tell me.

Metal tags are specifically from Amekron IMPRESS-O-TAG aluminum plant label tags. They are durable, lasting and simple to use. You can imprint them with a regular pen, and then trace the words with sharpie. The sharpie will fade in the sun over time but you will not lose the impression of what you have written. Our metal tags come with our name on the back of the tag and the variety you have ordered if you use premade tags by us. We stand by our cuttings and want our name to continue to be along side your plants when they start fruiting.
